Aascent-e gives you the option of producing quotations and premium finance agreements whenever and wherever you like, saving you time, money and effort. For example, our automated process for standard risks up to £85,000 means a loan application can now go from submission to approval in just ten minutes. To access the system you just need an Internet link - there's no need to install any special software on your PC and we will even help train your staff to get the most value from using Aascent-e.

The Company

Built upon the foundations of many years experience in the insurance and premium finance market, Aascent is a young but experienced premium finance company specialising in commercial insurance.

Our aim is to work in partnership with you to provide tailor made, one-stop solutions for all your commercial clients' premium funding requirements. And because we understand insurance we offer a number of additional benefits to help support you and help you grow your business.
The Team

We are led by the two co-founders of the company - Kevin O'Flanagan and Ed Ferrell - both of whom have significant industry experience.

Kevin O’Flanagan
Managing Director

Kevin's credentials speak for themselves. A qualified Chartered Accountant, he was the European development and finance director for Transamerica Insurance Finance Company (TIFCO) based in the UK. Prior to this, he spent 15 years with Commercial Union working in Poland, France and the UK, before joining CNA Insurance as head of finance.

Kevin says of the company: "I believe that Aascent is the most progressive force in premium finance today and our scale, knowledge and expertise enables us to provide services uniquely tailored to the needs of our broker customers. We understand that we are here to support our brokers and that the greatest value that we can bring to them is to do that well and help them grow their business"

Ed Ferrell
Operations Director

Before setting up Aascent, Ed also worked for Transamerica Insurance Finance Company (TIFCO) as director in charge of operations, technology and development for Europe. This, together with other key roles in sales and marketing and organisational development for TIFCO in the US, has helped him become an expert in business and management strategy. Ed also served as a board member for three of TIFCO's subsidiary companies. Prior to TIFCO, Ed worked at the insurer USF&G (now part of St. Paul) with assignments in both personal and commercial lines at a regional and head office level.

Ed is confident that Aascent's novel approach to premium finance will continue to set aascent apart from its competitors. He comments, "We are different - we understand the market in terms of both insurance and premium finance and this will single us out as being above the rest and the provider of choice for brokers."

Well known amongst the broking community, Lloyd brings over 30 years of experience in broker management and in particular building long term business relationships.
